The 2018 summer transfer window closed at 5pm. The day took a fairly slow start as teams looked to secure their last-minute signings, but the pace picked up come the final hour before the window closed.
3. EPL Teams Dominated The Most Mentioned USers
Four of the top five most mentioned teams all play in England’s top flight. Two of these teams dominated the discussion on Twitter by either signing no one or finishing the day strong with some mega signings.
